The Chelle Shoppe started in the most ordinary place (my basement) with a Cricut machine my husband gave me for my birthday.
At the time, I had no idea what I would make with it. I remember opening the box and thinking, What am I actually going to do with this?
I’m a practical person, so my first instinct was simple: make something cute that also had a purpose.
I started by making shirts for my own kids. Then friends asked for shirts. Then their friends did, too.
Before I knew it, a small creative experiment had turned into something much bigger than I ever expected.
At the time, I was home with my kids and looking for something that would allow me to stay present with my family while still giving me a creative outlet. Opening an Etsy shop felt like the perfect way to do both.
That was the beginning of The Chelle Shoppe.

What I quickly fell in love with wasn’t just designing shirts; it was realizing that something as simple as a t-shirt could become part of people’s real lives. Family gatherings. Clothing has a funny way of becoming part of our memories, and I loved the idea of creating pieces that people would wear during those everyday moments that matter most. |
As the business grew, my vision for it became clearer.
I realized I didn’t just want to create clothing. I wanted to build a brand that celebrates women and families living authentic lives rooted in faith.
The Chelle Shoppe is a faith-based clothing brand designed for moms and families who love God and want to express their faith in ways that feel genuine to them.
One of the ideas at the heart of this brand is that faith doesn’t have to fit into a narrow mold.
Too often, we feel like we’re expected to look or act a certain way, especially in Christian spaces. But, I believe women can love God deeply while still embracing their personalities.
Bright.
Bold.
Playful.
Creative.
Simple.
Every woman is uniquely created in the image of God, and that individuality is something to celebrate, not hide.
Today, The Chelle Shoppe exists to create faith-inspired clothing for women and families living genuine, joy-filled, imperfect everyday lives with God at the center.
What started as a small idea in my basement has grown into a brand rooted in creativity, family, and faith that encourages women to embrace who they are while living out their faith in everyday life.
